The Beaver Colony is open to boys and girls. The Beavers are the youngest section of the Scout Movement. The Beaver Colony at Totteridge is growing and is very active.
On Tuesday evenings the Beavers play games, meet new friends and learn to mix with others of their own age. They take part in a variety of activities including craftwork and basic life skills. They have activities outdoors as well as indoors.
The Beavers are also encouraged to earn badges for the different activities that they are involved with.
Our Beaver Colony has grown so much that we now have a waiting list for young people to join. If your son or daughter would like to be a member of the Scout Association and likes games, crafts, meeting others and learning new things, is aged between 6 and 8years old, contact us so that we can include them as soon as possible.
The Colony is pleased to say that our two recent volunteers have completed their training as leaders so Beaver Ash and Beaver Hathi are now in fully qulified to lead the Colony. As with all our leaders at the 21st they are volunteers giving up their spare time so that the children of our community can have great time in a fun and safe environment.
This is a happy Colony, with leaders faithfully committed to helping the young people grow up with a balanced outlook on life.
